The previous site focused a lot on the beautiful outdoor work, but really failed to communicate the other core service of company. From a design standpoint, the old website was small, hard to read, and not mobile-friendly. The key third challenge was the ability for Fairfield House and Garden to update the website, particularly the blog, with ease.
How We Helped
Halstead Media kept the image tiles on the opening homepage (since Fairfield House and Garden loved this look on the old site) but gave this new opening, as well as the entire site, a brand new, fresh, updated look. We carefully selected all the fonts and colors to complement the Fairfield House and Garden brand (timeless & elegant). Now mobile friendly, their website is easily accessible and visible on any device.
As for content and terminology, Halstead Media worked closely with Fairfield House and Garden to communicate the balance of interior and exterior work throughout the website. From the image selection on the project pages to the navigation menu - visitors know (within seconds) the variety of services that this company offers.
