Case Study: The Gorilla Hook Website Redesign

About the Company

gorilla hook holster website for goshen, ny company

The Gorilla Hook, based out of Goshen, NY, is a seamless one-handed operation cordless drill/impact wrench holster. The product is sold worldwide and is for anyone working from heights (especially scaffolders!).

The Challenge

The biggest limitation of the previous Gorilla Hook website was the limitation in updating information and managing orders. The final straw was the inability to correctly offer bulk discounts. Customers were able to manipulate bulk discounts if they changed the quantity number from a qualifying number to a lower at checkout - and still maintain the bulk discount.

How We Helped

Halstead Media transitioned The Gorilla Hook to an ecommerce friendly platform using Squarespace. From shipping to inventory, the new platform gives endless flexibility to managing pricing and orders.

As for the look, we maintained a consistent look and feel for the new website that perfectly aligns The Gorilla Hook's brand (from colors to font). Most importantly, the target customer was better represented in the text throughout the website.
