Construction SEO for a Stone Supply Yard and Garden Center drives traffic and sales.

CASE STUDY

Construction SEO for hardscape dealer, garden center marketing
Almost two years later, in April 2019, they had 2,740 visitors as a result of organic traffic from SEO, compared to 598 in March 2018.

When a NY-based stone yard and garden supply center came to HALSTEAD in May 2017, they wanted to increase foot traffic from both homeowners and landscape contractors within their area. Hardscape dealers often have a very specific radius due to delivery capabilities, so we carefully selected cities that would reach their target homeowners and design/build contractors alike.

After identifying the most searched keywords in their service areas, along with cities that had the best HHI (household income) and population combination, we published professionally written SEO articles, on a weekly basis. The articles while written to educate and entertain the website visitors, also targeted the list of SEO keywords, along with ongoing new local landing pages monthly, and now high-quality backlinks. Almost two years later, in April 2019, this company had 2,740 visitors as a result of organic traffic, compared to 598 in March 2018.

During this time, they benefited from the articles also being posted on their Facebook page, as well as in monthly email campaigns to their increasing subscribers. Some more background on the SEO wins:

  • We tracked important, relevant keywords with sufficient search volume such as “masonry supply” and “wholesale nursery”.

  • All of their most important keywords ranked on the first four pages by the end of year one.

  • All of their most important keywords ranked on the first two pages by the end of year two.

  • 93 of these 105 keywords ranked on the first page.
